Low Table Café

The site is a narrow infill — 4.5m wide and 16m deep — wedged between two older buildings. We treated the constraint as a feature: a single long bar runs the depth of the room, with all furniture pegged to a 420mm horizon line.

Materials are honest and few: terracotta floors, lime plaster on the walls, a slatted teak ceiling, and brushed brass for everything that has to touch a hand.
