Kavi Foundation School

We designed a single, wide and shaded corridor as the social spine of the school — wide enough for impromptu reading groups, generous enough for parents at pickup, slow enough to encourage walking instead of running.

Classrooms open off both sides of the spine and are deliberately a touch smaller than the norm — 36 sqm — so that the spine itself becomes an extended learning surface.
